About Croisée
Croisée is a French dating app built for people who live in the same city and have never spoken to each other.
Why another dating app
Conventional dating apps treat a city as a catalogue: you scroll through hundreds of profiles, none of them tied to a place or a habit. The outcome is familiar — plenty of swipes, few actual meetings. Croisée flips the starting point: real proximity first, profile second.
What we believe
A profile beats a score. A conversation beats a queue of likes. And a dating app has no business selling your location to ad networks: Croisée does not, and the Privacy page spells out exactly what is collected and for how long.
Moderation and safety
Any profile can be reported in two clicks, and every report is reviewed by a human. Blocking is immediate and mutual: a blocked person disappears from your suggestions and can no longer contact you. You can delete your account and all of your data at any time, without having to email anyone.
A business model you can read
Croisée lives off its subscription, not advertising. That is deliberate: an ad-funded app profits from keeping you in front of the screen, whereas a dating app succeeds when you close it to go and meet someone.
