Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask before signing up: pricing, privacy, safety, and how the app works.
Is Croisée free?
Yes. Creating an account, filling in a profile, receiving suggestions, liking and chatting with your matches costs nothing. The Croisée Gold subscription at 9.99 EUR per month adds comfort — seeing who liked you, advanced filters, unlimited swipes — but the app stays fully usable without it.
Is my exact location visible?
No. Croisée never displays your GPS coordinates. Distances are rounded and your position history is time-limited. The crossings map shows approximate areas, never a precise point, and a hidden profile is absent from it entirely.
How does the Croisée Gold subscription work?
It is a 9.99 EUR monthly subscription, charged automatically by Stripe and cancellable at any time from your subscription panel. After a cancellation, access stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your personal data and photos are removed, references to you in the technical log are anonymised, and any active Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately so no further charge can occur. Deletion requires your password.
How do I report or block someone?
From a profile or a conversation, two buttons let you report or block. A block is immediate and mutual: the person disappears from your discovery and your messages, and you from theirs. Your block list stays visible and reversible.
Do I need location permission at all times?
No. Croisée works without active location: you then get suggestions based on the city in your profile. Granting position access improves how accurate the crossings are, it is never mandatory.
What is a Supercrush?
It is a stronger signal than a like: it lets you write to someone without waiting for a mutual match. Every account gets a few, Gold members get more, and a pack of 10 is available as a one-off 2.99 EUR purchase.
Which cities does Croisée cover?
All of France. The app has no reserved zone: it simply looks for compatible people within the radius you set, whether you live downtown or in a smaller town. The city pages are an entry point, not a limit.
